Inside Sales / Lead Generation
Trulioo is a Vancouver-based, Silicon Valley-funded company that provides online identity verification services globally. We are looking for an experienced and motivated B2B sales professional to help grow sales in an inside sales and lead generation capacity. The individual will be responsible for generating and developing viable leads by proactively and systematically pursuing new customers and business opportunities via phone, email, and marketing tools. The position will be based in Vancouver, Canada with communication and collaboration with senior management in Vancouver and Australia; reporting to the VP of Sales in Australia.
Role and Responsibilities:
    Execute outbound lead generation activities and customer communications program in international markets with a specific emphasis on Canada/USA/UK and Australia in the financial sectors, payment services, gaming and online marketplaces.
    Generate and develop qualified leads via phone, email, and marketing tools
    Call decision-makers to understand their identity verification needs and requirements
    Set appointments and coordinate demonstration schedules for qualified sales leads
    Maintain constant communication and coordination with geographically dispersed Regional Sales Managers regarding leads generated and next steps required
    Respond timely to inquiries through marketing channels and proactively seek new business opportunities
    Liaise with Regional Sales Managers to facilitate appointments
    Collaborate with marketing team to ensure all sales and marketing channels are optimized and utilized for lead generation
    Update SalesForce database with information regularly
    Track and report on all activities to VP of Sales
Required Skills and Expertise:
    Minimum of 2 years experience in outbound sales required (phone, call center or telemarketing)
    Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to successfully articulate technical product specifications to senior corporate managers
    Strong technical aptitude and superior relationship building and interpersonal skills
    Strong desire and ability to quickly learn new technologies and clearly articulate value propositions
    Self-motivated, confident, competitive, detailed-oriented, and big appetite for high achievement in lead generation
    Team player with ability to work independently
    Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel
Bonus Points:
    Technical background and familiarity with SaaS
    Experience or knowledge of Online Payments and Identity Verification services
    Experience with international markets
    Experience in the B2B space
