Assistant Professor – Human Neuroscience
Position # 21105:The Department of Psychology invites applicationsfor a tenure-track position at the Assistant
Professor level commencing July 1, 2015. Candidatesshould have a Ph.D. and a developing research program in human
neuroscience, with expertise in social or clinical neuroscience. The candidate will be expected to teach courses in
neuroscience and related topics. The ability to teach courses in research design and quantitative methods is an asset, as
is the willingness to supervise undergraduate and graduate student research. The successful candidatewould have
shared access to ERP and eye-tracking equipment. Inaddition, the geographic location of Acadia University permits
collaborative research at other Atlantic universities that house neuroimaging equipment such as MEG and fMRI.
Acadia is a predominantly undergraduate university with a large enrolment in psychology and a specialized option in
neuroscience. The department also offers a Master’sof Science degree in clinical psychology.
