The facility was built to service Queensland’s thriving agricultural sector, primary industry, and FMCG markets across Queensland and will create over 100 new green-collar jobs!

The Role: Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be part of a high-performing team responsible for the maintenance and repair of plant and equipment on the day shift.

Responsibilities: Effectively prioritise activities, respond to breakdowns and undertake preventative maintenance. Installing wire and conduit for newly installed and existing equipment such as conveyors, programmable controllers, and converting and corrugating machinery. Replacing faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches & motors, position sensing devices such as proximity switch timers, scanners, and photo electric devices. Diagnosing and repairing or replacing faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards. Look for efficiencies and ways to continuously improve our ways of operating.

What you will bring to the team: A full Electrical license with a background in electrical applications and manufacturing process experience. Demonstrate an ability to read electrical schematics and drawings together with PLC & VSD experience. You’re analytical and keenly focused on process and continuous improvement. Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining the required safety standards. Good communication and reporting skills. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a “get the job done” approach every day.
