Responsibilities: Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect defects. Establish NDI techniques and calibration standards. Calibrate, test and interpret ultrasonic equipment. Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations. Instruct and supervise trainees. Maintain test result reports. Credentials. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses. CWB Visual Inspector Certification Level 2. Experience and specialization. Testing equipment and methods. Liquid penetrant. Magnetic particle. Visual inspection. Nondestructive testing.
