We are looking for a Piping Design Engineer for our leading client in the oil and gas/petrochemical industry, based in Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications and Experience: 10+ years of experience. Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering. In-depth knowledge of one's own discipline & basic knowledge of related disciplines. Solves complex problems and takes a new perspective on existing solutions. Works independently and receives minimal guidance. May lead projects or project steps within a broader project or have accountability for ongoing activities or objectives. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May represent the level at which a career may stabilize for many years or even until retirement. Proficient in English (speaking & writing).

Key Responsibilities: Preparation of drawings & detailed engineering as per specified standards. Preparation of ITB and review of vendor drawings for approval. Generation of Plot Plans and Piping General Arrangements Drawing, Piping Layout, and Piping Isometrics; support during HAZOP study. Preparation of MTO, BOQ, and review of BOQ, Pipe specifications, valve data sheets, and raising PR for material purchase. Perform Pipeline Stress Analysis using CAESAR, provide recommendations for critical lines, stress isometrics, and support design checking. Liaise and coordinate with inter-disciplinary teams (mechanical, civil, electrical, structural, instrumentation, and process) for project deliverables.

Conduct site visits for data collection, piping as-built, line condition, and P&ID verification on site. Preparation of a detailed scope of piping work and cost estimation. Report and discuss issues with the project engineer, review and study material packing lists in coordination with quality control personnel, and implement necessary actions.
