Parole Officer, Native Counselling Services of Alberta. Location: Edmonton, AB. Salary: 60,000 to 65,000 annually (to be negotiated) / 35 hours per week. Full time. Day, to be determined. Responsibilities: Interview offenders to prepare pre-sentence reports. Supervise support staff. Assess offenders' prospects for successful reintegration into the community. Perform administrative. Plan rehabilitation programs with offenders, establishing rules of conduct, goals, and objectives. Prepare classification reports recommending types of incarceration and types of interventions for rehabilitation. Refer offenders to community and social services programs. Liaise with the inmates' families and contacts in the community. Recommend actions when probation or parole is violated.
