Main & Cherry is a stunning cellar door at Chandlers Hill, in the northern edge of the McLaren Vale wine region and the Gateway to the Fleurieu Peninsula. We opened 18 months ago and are currently recruiting for casual cell Door Sales Assistants who will provide an exceptional experience for our customers.

Flexible hours, with a Thurs-Mon rotating roster, and weekend and Public Holiday work availability are essential. You will assist the Cellar Door Manager in the day-to-day operation of the Cellar Door and provide our guests with a memorable tasting experience. You will have a passion for wine and great customer service, be reliable, well-presented, punctual and have a “can-do” attitude with a fun and friendly disposition. key to your success will be your demonstrated skills and experience in the following areas:

Current RSA certificate: Available to work weekends and weekdays (as well as some public holidays). Team player and contributor to a positive team culture. Strong work ethic. Flexible & dynamic attitude. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced establishment. Experience working in wine retail, hospitality, cellar door, sales or alike. A passion for wine, with good wine knowledge. Customer-focused and service-driven, with an understanding that "first impressions count". Use of POS systems and practices. Food handling and barista skills are also desirable.

Duties will include: Conducting tastings and delivering sales. Food handling and running food to tables. Signing up new wine club members. Packing and dispatching wines. Delivering guests a memorable wine experience and impeccable service. Liaising with enquiries and bookings in person and over the phone. Some cleaning and maintaining tidiness of cellar door are required.
