Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school, Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Oil Burner Mechanic (Residential) Trade Certification, Oil Burner Mechanic (Residential) Red Seal Certificate
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
Major Work Area: Installation, Maintenance, Repair, Testing, Service

Specific Skills: Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning oil burners, Lay out and assemble oil burner heating system components, Test installed units and adjust controls for proper functioning, Perform scheduled maintenance and service
Security and Safety: Criminal record check, Driver's validity license check
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling
Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's licence
