About Us: Sustainable Energy Infrastructure (SEI) owns and operates a portfolio of small-scale power generation and distributed energy assets operating in various locations in four states across Australia, with the head office for SEI located in Adelaide.

We are seeking a person to join our team who is able to systematically manage a portfolio of energy assets within the SEI business across the National Energy Market (NEM).

You will also oversee the rollout of new projects (<5 MW) being built within the SEI portfolio across NEM, ensuring that all regulatory and statutory requirements are met.

Included in the role is the requirement to ensure commercial outcomes are met in accordance with financial budgets while maintaining proactive management of operating costs and capital investment in the assets.

Your New Role: You will be responsible for: Being the primary contact with the customer for managing the ongoing contract between the parties, regularly liaising with customers to ensure that SEI is delivering on their expectations and promptly managing any identified concerns. Developing and maintaining professional relationships (commercial, contractual and personal) with co-workers, customers and suppliers. Ensuring that all site operations (commercial, technical, HSE, regulatory and HR) are managed in accordance with best practice. Ensuring SEI’s deliverables to it’s customers are met while maximising the return to SEI and overseeing delivery of new projects during construction (<5MW). Ensuring that all SEI HSE policies and standards are adhered to on site and developing, managing and maintaining site HSE and Emergency Plans or equivalent as required. Actively participating in SEI-wide knowledge sharing with other SEI personnel.

About You: You will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience post-qualification in relevant Energy Industry disciplines, including trade or engineering, with demonstrated knowledge of electrical and generation infrastructure and associated network operation. You will have strong asset and project management capabilities as well as an understanding of best and emerging practices with sound commercial acumen (financial and legal). You will have demonstrated experience in development and deployment of maintenance and operating systems, procedures and policies.

You will also have the following attributes and experience: Leadership experience in managing contractors and staff. Well-developed interpersonal skills, including strong teamwork, negotiationand influencing skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Be a trustworthy sounding board based on your professionalism and character. Ability to establish and maintain excellent relationships with a wide range of people, taking the opportunity to promote SEI with external stakeholders and customers.
