Role & Responsibilities:

Provide expert care to patients and their families in accordance with Nurse Practitioner legislation, including: conducting thorough patient assessments and diagnoses. prescribing medications as needed. ordering and interpreting pathology and radiological tests. providing telehealth consultations to patients. referring patients to appropriate health professionals. Managing patient care upon referral from other health professionals. prescribing and administering approved formulary medications. participating in peer and case review procedures as guided by the Manager, Senior Nurse Practitioner, or Collaborating Medical practitioner. Contributing to clinic workforce development programs. Follow clinic procedures and policies. Complete accurate documentation. Understand clinic equipment usage per manufacturer instructions. Ensure patient information security at all times.

Skills & Experience: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Prior experience in working with general practice teams would be an advantage.

Qualifications: Registered Nurse Practitioner with current AHPRA registration.
