Candidates must be Melbourne-based and have AU citizenship! Work as a cloud devOps and Akamai engineer with a leading consulting firm on one of their government sector projects.

Responsibilities include cloud infrastructure management. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, and Packer to automate the deployment process, ensuring smooth and efficient software releases. Serve as the primary technical expert on Akamai products and services.

System Monitoring & Maintenance: Containerization & Orchestration. Automation & scripting. Implement security best practices across cloud environments, including IAM, network security, data protection, and compliance.

Skills required include a minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud DevOps and Akamai roles, with strong hands-on experience in AWS and Akamai. Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, Elasticache, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, S3). Proficiency in DevOps tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Packer). Experience with monitoring stacks such as Elastic Stack (ELK). Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift). Integrate Akamai APIs and create custom scripts for automation.
