The Role: Provide intervention to participants living with various disabilities according to the needs of the business. Ensure a high standard of clinical care congruent with the values of Access Foundation. Developing plans and reports required for NDIS plans.
therapist to work with people across all walks of life to provide a range of supports and services to NDIS participants, including: assistive technology (aids and equipment). Home modifications. Assessment of personal support needs (personal care). Housing assessments for participants requiring specialist disability accommodation. Transport assistance. Orientation and mobility training. Mental health well-being. The whole life of personal planning.
The successful applicant will possess the following: Full relevant registration. Excellent knowledge of evidence-based practice within the area of the relevant field. Awareness of the principles of person-centred practice. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High levels of computer literacy. Working with Children Check. Sound knowledge of the NDIS (training provided). NDIS Workers Orientation Module (Quality, Safety, & You). NDIS Worker Screening check (will cover a police clearance). Full Driving License.
