About this opportunity: Permanent full-time opportunity. Attractive Remuneration Package. Career and training opportunities. This is an exciting opportunity to join our industrial refrigeration team. You will be creating designs and deliverables for projects in industrial sustainability, industrial refrigeration, heat pumps, process plant cooling applications, and gas compression, as well as production, installation, testing, and ensuring documentation is compliant with customer specifications and QA standards.

You will liaise directly with the customers, suppliers, and internal factories to ensure the desired solutions meet the technical specifications required for the project. You will be looked upon for your organizational skills and technical innovation to help a fast-paced team perform at the highest level and deliver to some of the world's largest companies. 

The role includes: plan, coordinate, and prepare project deliverables required to initiate, develop, and execute assigned projects in industrial sustainability, refrigeration, or heavy industry. You will be helping customers to achieve net zero goals by working on energy transformation projects and developing highly efficient systems for chilling, heating, heat recovery, and energy transfer.

Create engineering designs related to industrial refrigeration, heat transfer, gas compression, hydrogen, energy transfer, chillers, and heat pump projects. Provide leadership to complete the project on time and within budget. Ensure appropriate project focus and allocation of resources to achieve forecasts and deadlines. Effectively manage and execute projects to meet performance and project requirements. Ensure project financial status is regularly reviewed and updated. Provide project updates to senior management. Ensure a high quality of work and compliance to OHS&E standards.

What we are looking for: strong technical knowledge of industrial refrigeration and compressors, rotary screw and reciprocal compressor maintenance, service delivery efficiencies, control system fundamentals, project management experience, hands-on experience in delivery of maintenance and reactive works, and an understanding of mechanical and electrical control systems. A demonstrated ability to supply value-engineered solutions for refrigeration and compression clients. Engineering or technical qualifications.

Excellent written/report writing & verbal communication skills. Strong understanding of ammonia refrigeration, chillers, gas compression, and industrial plant performance and design requirements. Great customer service skills. Passion to drive front-line safety identification and resolution.
