Responsibilities: Assess site and terrain before operations. Drive heavy equipment to perform a combination of felling, slashing, bucking, bunching and forwarding operations. Experience and specialization. Type of harvesting. Pulpwood harvesting. Saw log harvesting. Logs and poles. Type of logging. Clear cutting (patch logging). Selective cutting. Equipment and machinery experience. Shortwood harvester.
