Salary: $72,651 - $99,129 p.a. (pro rata) + superannuation + leave loading + allowances. Ongoing Part Time (32 hours per week) - RN/M1.

At Kimba Hospital, you will be more than just a healthcare provider—you will be a vital part of a community-oriented team. Our mission is to deliver safe, patient-centered nursing care to children, youth, women, and their families with diverse cultural backgrounds and multiple complexities.

In this role, you will provide nursing and/or midwifery services within the health service to patients/clients on a shift-by-shift basis. You will assess individual patient/client needs, plan, implement, and/or coordinate appropriate service delivery from a range of accepted options, including other disciplines or agencies.

Two ongoing part-time vacancies are available, each working 0.8FTE FTE 64 hours per fortnight.

What we're looking for: You will be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and be eligible to hold a current practicing certificate. Demonstrating sound knowledge and an understanding of the role of the Registered Nurse/Midwife within a health care setting, you will bring the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

You will be creative, innovative and flexible when approaching issues within a health care setting, displaying a commitment to providing consumer- and family-centred care. Strong communication skills, including problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
