About Access, Critical Care, Imaging, and Ambulatory Services (ACIA) Division. Access, Critical Care, Imaging, and Ambulatory Services incorporates the following specialties across Austin.

Health sites with the objective of providing an efficient and coordinated patient-focused service: Emergency Department and Emergency Short Stay. Intensive Care Unit. Care Coordination. Hospital-wide Access and Bed Resource Management. Non-Emergency Patient Transport. Hospital-in-the-Home inclusive of virtual care. Specialist Clinics. Ambulatory Care Center/Transit Lounge. Radiology, Molecular Imaging, and Therapy (MIT).

About the role: In collaboration with the Divisional Manager, Ambulatory Services, the Business Manager will manage and coordinate the operations and business support for the Ambulatory Service departments and their respective leadership teams (Specialist Clinics, HITH/VC, and ACC), with an initial primary focus on Specialist Clinics. There will be elements of business support functions and strategy & improvements.

A regular day will see you, within the Ambulatory Services arm of ACIA, be responsible for Operational Oversight. Technical and system support. Financial management and support. Business Support Functions: IT and data development, testing, and analysis. Financials; billing & revenue system processes; and EOM analysis. Vendor Relationship & Contract Management. Asset management. Business case development (including analysis of data and financials). General Administration is supporting, including recruitment. Strategy & Improvement (future service design).

The above business support elements will ensure a link to develop and promote the strategic objectives within Ambulatory Services, including but not limited to the below: Department of Health Specialist Clinics Access Policy and performance requirements for Non-Admitted Specialist Services in Victorian Public Hospitals. Coordination of service model planning and delivery. Innovation and improvement opportunities to deliver safe, effective, and consumer-led services. The role will report to the Divisional Manager, Ambulatory Services, and will work closely and collaboratively with Finance, Business Intelligence Unit (BIU), and the leadership team within Ambulatory Services departments, including Nurse Unit Managers, Administration Managers, and Improvement Leads.
