Cafe Manager, Barista. Lo Quay River Cafe. Riverton, Perth WA. Management (Hospitality & Tourism). Full time. $75,000 per year. Lo Quay River Cafe is a well-known established food and coffee hub on the Canning River front. We open 7 days a week, including public holidays and have a dedicated following for our coffee, food, cold beverage options and our wonderful team of service professionals.

We are offering the rare opportunity to join Lo Quay's management in a hands-on capacity, inspiring the team, making exceptional standard coffee, directing and training staff, providing a superior level of customer service and adhering to guidelines with rostering and ordering.

Your responsibilities will include: Presenting coffee, food and cold beverages to a very high standard. Opening or closing the cafe daily, including cashing up, locking up and checking all prep and cleaning is ready for upcoming service. Use and administration of online bookings system (Now book it) and online ordering platform (me & u). Managing staff hours according to business peaks and quiet times. Rostering and management of a staff of approx. 15 employees, including leave requests, training, and upskilling and performance management. Ordering of FOH items such as cakes, packaged drinks, and consumables. Shift management ensures each service is organized, well run, and complaints are dealt with promptly and to the customer's satisfaction.

Communicating with payroll contractor reporting weekly timesheets, invoices and general bookkeeping communications. Communicating with business owners daily. Positive outlook and can-do attitude. Weekend work is an essential part of this role.

We require you to confidently present your experience as follows: Demonstrated experience in a busy F&B venue. Exceptional barista skills and the ability to handle very busy weekend service

Ability to deliver high levels of customer service and support junior employees in prioritising customers. Ability to confidently manage people in a kind, assertive manner. Availability for a variety of shifts, including weekends. Exceptional written and verbal communication.
