Responsibilities: Assist in developing engineering specifications and drawings. Participate in field surveys, inspections or technical investigations. Prepare construction specifications, costs and material estimates. Prepare engineering designs and drawings. Prepare project schedules. Supervise or conduct field surveys, inspections, technical investigations and testing of construction materials

Provide consultation services to government and other organizations. Maintain progress and other reports. Interpret blueprints/specifications/standards and written technical instructions. Ensure adherence to safety regulations. Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings and specifications. Experience and specialization. Computer and technology knowledge. CAE: computer-aided engineering. MicroStation. Geographic Information System (GIS). Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment. 3D graphic software. AutoCAD. MS Access. MS Excel. MS Outlook. MS PowerPoint. MS Project. MS Word. Autodesk REVIT. Primavera. Area of specialization. Structural engineering. Construction design and supervision.
