The Lake House Denmark is a family-owned and operated award-winning wine and food producer, cellar door, restaurant, and provedore store open 7 days a week. We are all about sharing a taste of the good life with our customers and our team.

We are looking for a hands-on, dedicated and passionate cook or passionate foodie to join our kitchen team. This is a great opportunity to source and use the wonderful array of regional produce available in the Great Southern as well as utilize vegetables grown in our organic vegetable garden and orchard.

Some of your responsibilities include: Food preparation and service. Stock ordering and control (minimizing wastage). Working with management to manage kitchen on a day-to-day basis. Assist with development of menus and recipes using our Vinofood gourmet condiments. Ensure kitchen and all equipment are maintained to a high level of cleanliness and working order. Maintain a professional hands-on approach to food service within a kitchen whilst achieving the highest quality service, presentation and delivery to customers.

The position is part-time with a minimum 2-4 shifts (days only) per week, including weekends; however, a full-time position could exist for the right person. You are also required to work during the busy tourist times, including long weekends, Christmas, Easter and school holidays.
