Glen Osmond Baptist Church (GOBC) is a vibrant, multi-generational community passionate about authentic faith, spiritual growth through God’s Word, and being on mission locally and globally. Located in the heart of Myrtle Bank, we have a strong focus on supporting families, with thriving children’s and youth ministries at the core of our church life.

We are seeking a Youth Pastor to lead and grow our dynamic youth ministry, which currently includes:

Monthly youth events (Saturday evenings). Fortnightly Bible studies (during Sunday services). Termly kids’ club (for years 2–5). The Youth Pastor will play a key role in discipling youth, supporting families, and fostering a community where young people feel they belong, can explore their faith, and grow spiritually.

Key Responsibilities: Build positive relationships with youth and their families, offering pastoral care and support. Lead and organise weekly youth group meetings, Bible studies, and other discipleship-focused events. Support primary school ministry, helping transition children into youth programs. Recruit, train, and lead a team of passionate volunteers. Communicate effectively with youth, parents, church leadership, and volunteers about ministry plans and goals. Manage the youth ministry budget and resources. Actively participate in Sunday services, small groups, and other GOBC events. Collaborate with the Lead Pastor and church leadership to align youth ministry with GOBC’s mission. Engage in mentoring or spiritual coaching for personal growth.

About You We are looking for someone with: A committed and active Christian faith, dedicated to following Jesus. Strong Biblical knowledge and the ability to teach and apply it to youth. Genuine enthusiasm for working with youth and families. Experience in youth ministry, theology, education, or a related field (preferred). Completed or willingness to undertake theological or ministry-related studies. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills. Flexibility, adaptability, and a collaborative team spirit. Adherence to child protection policies and willingness to obtain a WWCC.
