AutoCAD Designer Needed, Region: Riyadh (Riyadh). Job Purpose. Develop and produce precise AutoCAD drawings and designs to support the theming construction projects, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with creative concepts to achieve high-quality project deliverables.

Accountabilities: Create detailed 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for these projects to ensure clarity and precision in construction and production. Interpret design concepts and translate them into technical drawings to facilitate accurate fabrication and installation processes. Collaborate with project teams to review design requirements and ensure technical feasibility. Update and modify drawings based on client or project manager feedback to maintain alignment with project objectives.

Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and company guidelines to maintain consistency and safety.

Coordinate with architects, engineers, and designers to resolve design conflicts and improve project outcomes. Organise and maintain drawing files and records to ensure easy access and version control.

Provide technical support during the construction phase to address design-related challenges.

Role Requirements, Essential Requirements, Qualifications, and Education: Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field with a focus on design.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience working with AutoCAD in a construction or welding environment. Proven experience in creating detailed 2D and 3D drawings for theming or similar projects.

Training: formal training in AutoCAD software with advanced proficiency.

Specialised Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of construction detailing and materials. Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with other design tools like SketchUp or Revit. Ability to interpret artistic designs into practical technical drawings.

Preferable Requirements Qualifications and Education: Additional certification in 3D modeling or rendering.

Experience: Experience in large-scale themed entertainment projects or creative environments.

Training: Workshops or training in the latest versions of AutoCAD or related software.

Specialised Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of international building codes and standards. Basic understanding of fabrication processes and techniques used in theming projects. Behavioural Competencies. Attention to detail is needed to ensure precision and accuracy in drawings. Effective communication to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Problem-solving to address design challenges and propose viable solutions. Time management to prioritise tasks and meet project deadlines.

Technical Competencies: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD for both 2D and 3D drafting. Familiarity with file management systems for version control. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Basic knowledge of rendering software for visual presentations.
