Operations Assistant - Growing Greenhouse Business, Greenhouse and polytunnels. Thomastown, Melbourne VIC. Warehousing, Storage & Distribution (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics). Part time. $25 – $35 per hour.

About the Role: This part-time role (with potential to become full-time) offers an exciting opportunity to learn valuable skills. As an Operations Assistant, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including: Answering customer inquiries via phone and email, providing excellent customer service.

Assisting with the packing and assembly of greenhouse kits in our Thomastown warehouse.

Managing warehouse inventory and stock levels. Supervising a small team of assembly staff. Assisting with on-site greenhouse installations (full training provided). This may involve occasional travel within regional Victoria. Standard work hours are 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, but we offer flexible work arrangements. We are also open to contracting the right candidate if that's more suitable.

Skills & Experience: Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is a plus, but not essential. Willingness to learn new skills and take initiative. Physical fitness and ability to lift moderately heavy objects. A valid driver’s license is preferred. Local to Thomas town preferred.
