About Us: Green Renewable Energy Solutions (GRES) is a rapidly growing company in Commercial solar installation industries. Since company was founded in 2019, GRES has expanded installation portfolio of 22.5MW across Sydney through extensive large EPC corporates.

About the Role As a Solar Electrician, your role includes, but not limited to: Planning and performing installation of solar PV systems, including electrical wiring, mounting of inverters and panels, testing, installation of main switches and other standard commercial electrical work. Performing general labour tasks incl. lifting, carrying, and moving equipment. Assure field works are carried out in compliance with the most recent drawings. Assist project managers and engineers with updating markups to complete as-built drawings. Provide technical guidance and problem-solving support to the installation crew. Ensure all work is complete to the highest standards, meeting safety and compliance requirements.

Key Competencies: Confidence to work at heights and perform tasks in various weather conditions. Ability to read engineering drawings and circuit diagrams. Punctuality, dependability, and a strong work ethic are essential qualities for success in this role. Adhering to project approved Safe Work Methodology Statement (SWMS) to carry out onsite work safely. Understanding of project financials and subcontractor responsibility to carry out due diligence. Detailed preparation of project Commissioning / Project handover form.

Experience/Qualifications: Electrical contractor licence. Solar Accreditation (CEC or SAA) (Preferred). Excellent technical knowledge of commercial solar PV systems, inverters, and BESS (Preferred). White Card (Compulsory). Working at height certificate (Preferred). A valid Driver’s Licence. National Police Clearance. Must be a permanent Australian resident with rights to work in Australia.
