As the team continues to expand, we are on the lookout for experienced stonemasons, site installers, and factory fabricators. Positions available: Stonemason, Benchtop Fabricator, Installer. Location: Tasmania, Melbourne. Full-time position. Starting Time: Immediately. Schedule: Monday-Friday, optional Saturdays. Pay Rate: Starting at $40 - $45 per hour.

Your key duties: Fabrication and installation of benchtops for residential and commercial projects. Cutting, shaping, and polishing stone with different types of machinery and hand tools. Measuring, glueing, and manufacturing custom stone products. Utilise specialised tools and equipment safely and efficiently to complete benchtop installations. Operating in all aspects of the production process. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other team members to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality results. Utilise specialised tools and equipment safely and efficiently to complete benchtop installations. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines throughout the process to maintain a safe work environment.

What you’ll need to succeed: a stonemasonry trade qualification or experience within the stone industry. At least 2 years of experience working with benchtops. Strong attention to detail. Experience operating CNC waterjets and bridge saws is highly desirable. Ability to read plans and measurements. A passion for stone work.
