Salary Classification: AHP2 (Allied Health Professional L2): $88,255 to $102,240. Classification: RN/M2C: Clinical Nurse/Midwife L2: $84,870 to $107,279. Full-time term contract (temporary up to a 2-year contract).
About the Opportunity: We currently have an exciting opportunity to join CAMHS as a clinician, where you will be responsible for: Accepts accountability for the outcomes of clinical practice for children, adolescents, and their families with mental health issues. Is responsible for addressing any inconsistencies between practice and policy. Ensures optimal consumer care, focusing on achieving the best possible health and recovery outcomes for consumers. It involves the provision of assessment, education, counselling, and group work, which are essential components of care. It involves consultation and liaison with other professional disciplines and non-governmental organizations to support consumer care.
Uses clinical knowledge, skills, and experience in providing direction, support, orientation, and education to other staff members. Leads and participates in action research projects, quality improvement activities, and policy development within the practice setting.
About You To be successful in this role, you will have: The relevant degree/registration/qualification for your respective discipline. Extensive clinical experience in the treatment and management of complex child and adolescent mental health issues. Demonstrated ability to conduct mental health assessment and therapeutic interventions of a complex nature with children and adolescents with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills include the ability to work with individuals and families for positive mental health outcomes and to foster productive working relationships across disciplines.
