The Position: To provide excellent customer service and food preparation to clients of Retro Lane Cafe and assist the Cafe Manager in the efficient operation of the cafe. Working an average of 20 hours per week. Come and work for an engaging and dynamic team.

Qualifications and experience: food handling certificate. Experience in the hospitality industry. Experience in a customer-focused environment, including cash handling. Interest in working with young people. Ability to undertake basic short-order cooking in a cafe environment.
Tasks and responsibilities: Assist customers with sales/purchases in a friendly and courteous manner. Provide a high level of hospitality expertise in food and beverage preparation, handling, and presentation. Undertake a range of basic short-order cooking. Operate POS registers for cafe sales, including reconciliation, daily banking, eftpos, and change bags. Restock fridges. Hours. Based on 38 hours per week, working an average of 20 hours across a 6-day spread, with actual days and times being worked in accordance with the facility roster.
