Construction Estimator, Buildya Development Ltd. Location: North Vancouver, BC. Salary: 43.00 to 43.99 hourly (to be negotiated) / 30 to 40 hours per week. Full time. Starts as soon as possible. Languages English. Education College/CEGEP. Experience 3 years to less than 5 years. Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities: Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs. Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements. Operate CADD and other computer software systems. Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads. Project cash flow and financing requirements. Advice on tendering procedures. Prepare and maintain a directory of supplies and trade contractors. Liaise, consult, and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates. Experience and specialization. Computer and technology knowledge. Estimating packages. MS Project. MS Excel. MS Word. MS PowerPoint.
