This is an exciting opportunity to join the Optimum Exercise Physiology Team as a Senior Exercise Physiologist, Clinical Lead.  In this full time position you will be responsible for leading a small group of Exercise Physiologists, along with providing high quality exercise-based rehabilitation services to clients with a range of health conditions. Your Role: Oversee a small team of Exercise Physiologists to ensure the delivery of patient-centred, evidence-based treatment plans. Provide 1:1 meetings with the clinical team to guide them to lead in the consult room, follow client care pathways, achieve optimal client outcomes, and hit their KPIs.

Mentor and provide clinical supervision to other Exercise Physiologists, support their professional development, and lead the 6 weekly in-house education program for all clinical staff.

Be a leader in the culture and well-being activities at Optimum including organisation of 6 monthly team afternoons in consultation with the Director, and provide general well-being support to the clinical team.

Lead the organisation of ad hoc community talks and events in collaboration with the Director and clinical team. Identify areas for growth in the business and work with the Director to implement these initiatives. Assess clients, design and implement tailored exercise programs to address their specific health and fitness goals (1:1 and group). Conduct Diabetes, Strong Bones, General EP classes and assessments. Collaborate with other allied health professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to client care, and to maintain relationships broadly. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation. Contribute to our social media.

What we're looking for Qualification in Exercise Physiology, ESSA Accreditation and membership and relevant police and working checks. Minimum of 3 years' experience as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, experience in a senior role desired but not necessary. Proven leadership and mentoring skills to effectively manage and develop a small team of Exercise Physiologists. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with clients, families, referrers and the community. A passion for your clients, your team, your community, the EP profession and a desire to improve everything that you do by demonstrating a growth mindset, initiative and a desire to succeed.

Demonstrated expertise in the assessment, design, and implementation of evidence-based exercise programs for clients with a wide range of medical conditions. Strong clinical reasoning skills and the ability to provide effective treatment plans. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with industry best practices.
