Long Haul Truck Driver. Stefano's Inc. Location: Saint John, NB. Salary: $29.00 hourly / 35 hours per week. Full-time. Day, Weekend, Overtime, On Call, Flexible Hours. Starts as soon as possible. Languages: English. Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year. Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Responsibilities: Arrange travel and related itineraries and make reservations. Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy. Load and unload goods. Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes. Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment. Perform brake adjustments. Perform emergency roadside repairs. Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle. Perform preventive maintenance. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption. Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo. Credentials. Certificates, licenses, memberships, and courses. Class 1/1F/A License (semi-trailer trucks). Experience and specialization. Documentation knowledge. Accident or incident reports. Driver logbook.
