Responsibilities: Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments. Monitor the movement of supplies and materials between departments. Perform routine clerical duties. Read blueprints, written specifications, and production drawings. Prepare and submit reports. Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery. Arrange for maintenance and repair work. Ensure accuracy of completed timesheets, payroll, and other summaries. Ensure proper functioning of equipment. Light cleaning duties. Maintain work records and logs. Monitor personnel workloads and locations. Organize the warehouse and work areas. Perform general office duties. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Recruit and hire staff. Coordinate activities with warehouse and production units. Coordinate the traffic flow of supplies. Compile worksheets and specifications of orders. Consult with the production supervisor to schedule production runs in a cost- and time-efficient manner. Estimate the type and quantity of materials and labor required for production, construction, and other projects. Monitor production progress. Prepare and maintain progress and other reports. Project management. Provide customer service. Train workers in duties and policies. Arrange training for staff. Conduct performance reviews. Coordinate, assign, and review work. Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies. Advise vehicle operators of traffic and other problems. Assist with maintenance of communications equipment. Communicate with ships, aircraft, and other remote operations. Follow up on issues with work orders. Keep track of shipments. Knowledge of cross-border dispatching regulations and practices. Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations. Maintain vehicle operator work records. Operate radio equipment. Process and transmit information and instructions to coordinate the activities of vehicle operators and crews using dispatching equipment. Record mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses.

Respond to urgent calls from individuals who find themselves in life-threatening situations and who require assistance. Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment. Organize and maintain inventory. Establish work schedules and procedures.
