Your Opportunity: In 2024, IGO proudly launched a refreshed corporate strategy that was founded on deep market research and analysis. The strategy focuses on upstream mining of lithium, copper, and nickel and gives clarity to how this will be achieved through efficient capital allocation, disciplined decision-making, strong governance, and great operating performance.
We are now seeking a highly skilled business development analyst to join our organization and become an integral part of the team that is delivering crucial data, analytics, and market insights in support of this strategy.
Within this key role, you will report to IGO’s Principal Analyst and conduct detailed financial modeling and valuation analysis of acquisition, divestment, and investment opportunities. This will involve discounted cash flow modeling, asset benchmarking, trading and transaction comparable analysis, review of technical studies, and preparation of internal and external presentations and documentation.

Your Experience
Along with an influential communication style and proactive attitude, you must be a team player and bring the following skills and experience: Relevant tertiary qualification; Experience working in professional services or similar corporate role; High-level financial modelling, analytical skills and quantitative ability; Proven ability to learn and apply new skills quickly and work to strict deadlines; Excellent communication skills with the ability to produce and present detailed presentations; Collaborative and personable working style, with the ability to influence and negotiate; Attention to detail and highly organised with experience working in a fast-paced environment; Team-oriented with great interpersonal skills whilst carrying a high degree of initiative; and National Police Clearance obtained within the last two months.
