The Integrity and Safeguarding Department provides critical support and services to ensure the proper safeguarding of children, young people, and vulnerable adults in the Catholic Archdiocese of Adelaide.

The Screening Verification Officer will be responsible for undertaking the verification process associated with all new Diocesan Centre and Parish Personnel appointments proposed for the Archdiocese.  This role will also be required to carry out the day to day administrative functions associated with the requirements of the Australian Catholic Ministry Register (ACMR) together with work relating to ongoing screening for Clergy and Religious Persons resident within the Dioceses of Adelaide and Port Pirie in addition to those visiting the Archdiocese. The successful applicant will have a sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and the capacity to apply that knowledge to other software applications. High-level organizational and administrative skills are required.

The position is offered for an initial period of 6 months.
