Internal Communications Manager
We are hiring an Internal Communications Manager to join our dynamic, results-driven team. We’re looking for an exceptional candidate to craft creative and strategic communications plans that support an informed and interactive environment for Absolute employees around the world.
The Internal Communications Manager will have a proven track record in the development, execution, and management of successful employee communications; direct experience working collaboratively with leadership and other internal stakeholders; and the writing skills to tailor information across all roles, functional groups, and geographies.
Responsibilities:
• Act as the key pivot point between leadership, HR, marketing, and Absolute employees for all internal communications
• Provide communication solutions to complex and sensitive issues
• Work closely with HR and Marketing to develop and implement strategies that align with corporate and departmental priorities
• Share employee feedback with internal stakeholders and coordinate the desired response
• Own the employee communications component on the Absolute global intranet including homepage, current news, content creation, and editorial calendar
• Manage quarterly company-wide communications and other updates
Qualifications:
• 5-10 years of experience in an internal communications role
• A strong communicator who works well under pressure and delivers to extremely aggressive timelines
• Exceptional writing and editing skills (short-listed candidates will be required to submit writing samples)
• Extreme attention to detail
• Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint
• Experience with web page layout and design would be an asset
This role will report to the Senior Director, Product Marketing & Communications with a dotted line to the Director, Human Resources.
