Assistant Venue Manager, X-Golf. Marion, Adelaide SA. Management (Hospitality & Tourism). Full time. $65,000–$75,000 per year.

About Us: X-Golf is Australia's largest indoor golf entertainment venue, and as a result of continued growth nation-wide, we are looking for a new assistant venue manager for our Marion venue.

Our venue combines the established and state-of-the-art X-Golf experience with a brand new Hey Caddy mini-golf offering to provide entertainment for all ages all under one roof.

With 5 state-of-the-art golf simulators, 12 holes of newly designed mini golf, a full bar, and a kitchen, topped off with a high-end audio-visual setup for music and sports, X-Golf & Hey Caddy Marion is positioned to be one of the go-to destinations for year-round indoor entertainment.

The Role: We are actively recruiting a new assistant venue manager to help support the team to success into the future.

The role will be reporting to and receiving support from the venue manager and will be responsible for the following, but not limited to: Ensuring a high standard of customer experience and driving venue success. Hosting events held at the venue, including birthdays, corporate functions, and bucks/hens events. Liaising with the Venue Manager and Event Sales and Marketing Coordinator in regard to upcoming functions. Understanding and maintaining golf simulators and/or mini golf courses. Assisting with managing stock levels, ordering, and stocktaking on a regular basis. Assisting with maintaining the Point of Sale (POS) system and ensuring accuracy of data entry.

To be successful in your application, you will be able to demonstrate all, if not a combination of the following: A minimum of one (1) year of hospitality experience, preferably in a management capacity. Flexibility across seven operating days, including nights and weekends. Current RSA certificate. Proven leadership skills, or the ability to lead a team and set priorities.
