About the business and the role: Our fast-growing workshop is currently expanding and, as such, requires 1 skilled technician/mechanic with experience in European vehicles to join our team!

We are one of Sydney's premier independent European workshops. Located in Ryde (Meadowbank) on the edge of Sydney’s Lower North Shore & Inner West, we have been proudly servicing, repairing, and carrying out performance upgrades on vehicles since 2018. With a strong customer focus, specializing in European and Japanese vehicles. Our clients have high expectations, and we strive to provide our customers with top-tier service and experience as a dealership alternative for brands such as Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Skoda, and Volkswagen. With this in mind, we are looking for a keen and productive technician to join our dedicated A1 Autohaus family. All applicants must have rights to work in Australia.

Responsibilities and Duties, including but not limited to Carry out all vehicle servicing to a high standard. Complete minor and major mechanical repair work. Carry out performance upgrades. Carry out body styling kit installs. Fault diagnosis includes mechanical, electrical and air conditioning. Excellent problem-solving and adaptability skills. Maintain a clean and orderly workshop at all times. Document all work and jobcards. Checking, storing and updating stock.

Qualifications/Skills: Trade experience with European servicing and maintenance, minimum 2+ years. High level of attention to detail and fault diagnosis. Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks. Willingness to learn and develop existing skills and knowledge. Work effectively individually or as part of a team. Current tradesman certificate/license (registered with NSW fair trading). Unrestricted and valid driver’s license.

Ability to drive both automatic and manual vehicles. Provision of own tools is required (general workshop and specialized tools provided). Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. No B.S. mentality (we are a team-first family environment workshop). Additional skills / qualifications, AIS or AC licenses are advantageous.
