HPCSA Registered Dental Assistant, Other, Durban City. Job Type: Full-Time. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced dental assistant to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience and must be registered. We look for individuals who are committed to providing excellent patient care and supporting our dental professional team.

Qualifications: Certified HPCSA Dental Assistant program completion with current valid registration. Matric.

Skills and Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Compassionate and patient-care focused.

Patient Care: Prepare patients for dental procedures and ensure their comfort. Assist the dentist during procedures. Take and develop dental X-rays. Provide postoperative instructions. Sterilize dental instruments and equipment.

Clinical Support: Set up and clean treatment rooms. Ensure dental instruments and supplies are ready and organized. Mix and prepare dental materials. Manage dental impressions and models. Perform basic lab tasks.

Administrative Duties: Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental calendar. Maintain accurate patient records. Handle patient billing, payments, and insurance claims. Communicate with patients about treatment plans and follow-up care. Order and monitor dental supplies.

Compliance and Safety: Adhere to health and safety protocols. Participate in regular training sessions. Ensure the practice meets legal and regulatory requirements.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with dental staff to provide a seamless patient experience. Assist with training and onboarding new dental staff. Communicate effectively with the team.
