Finance is transitioning towards operating as an effective business partner. There is a real opportunity to develop and improve stakeholder engagement.

Position: With responsibility for the Australian region, and as a member of the executive team, you will report to the local MD and functionally to the global CFO based in the UK. You will work with and advise the executive, be forward-looking and provide a strong commercial voice, and at the same time lift organizational financial performance.

It is important to quickly understand the key financial levers that drive the business and how to activate them while providing constant and immediate oversight of the financial robustness of the organization.

It is critically important to think globally as well as locally. You will have good overall systems and IT knowledge, as well as be experienced and effective in senior executive and wider stakeholder group relationships.

Profile: CA/CPA qualified, with experience in a complex organization. Technical excellence is key. A natural leader with the ability to delegate, it is important to identify who is best suited to tackle tasks or projects. You must empower the team.

You will also be effective in creating high-performing teams and robust succession plans while influencing across all levels of the organization. You explain the complex simply and must be able to operate at pace.
