Driver Purpose of the role: The driver plays a key role in day-to-day operations of the business. The role of the driver is to ensure goods and services are delivered to customers and clients.

Subordinates: NOT APPLICABLE

Duties and responsibilities: loading, transporting, and delivering goods to clients and customers in a safe and timely manner. Review orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the invoice is correct, and the customer is satisfied. Assist with loading and unloading goods from the vehicle.

Accept payments for delivered items. Communicate with clients and customers in a courteous manner. Maintain client and customer confidentiality. Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicles. Adhere to all safety procedures, personal safety, and hygiene. Ensure all incidents and accidents are reported. Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules. Abide by the rules and laws of the road. Prepare and maintain documents related to the deliveries. Resolve customer or client queries.

Skills and Qualifications: A valid Matric Certificate. Valid Drivers License. Customer Focused. Excellent communication skills, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Accurate and attention to detail. Able to work under pressure. Able to work in a team. Physically fit. Job Type: Full-time. License/Certification: Valid driving license code 8 / 10 pdp.
