Jupiter Dental Clinic Byford is a newly established clinic looking to expand. We currently have 2 dentists on board. The right candidate will be passionate about providing a high standard of patient care, have a good work ethic with attention to detail, and demonstrate a high level of initiative. You will be working with long-standing staff who will be able to provide you with a great team environment with plenty of support and training, which you will need to excel in your role.

Job Description: We are looking for a friendly, professional, and organized dental nurse & receptionist to join our team. This dual role offers a varied and rewarding opportunity to assist both in the surgery and at the front desk, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Dental Nurse: Assisting the dentist during procedures and treatments. Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments and equipment. Supporting patients before, during, and after treatment. Maintaining accurate patient records. Adhering to infection control and health & safety protocols. Managing stock levels and ordering supplies as needed.

As a receptionist: welcoming patients and providing excellent customer service. Managing appointments and handling patient queries. Processing payments and handling administrative tasks. Maintaining accurate patient records and updating the database. Answering phone calls and emails professionally. Supporting the team with general practice administration.

Requirements: Qualified and GDC-registered dental nurse (or working towards qualification). Previous experience in dental reception or administration (preferred). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment. Friendly and professional approach to patient care. Proficiency in dental software or willingness to learn.
