About the role: As a Refrigeration Technician at APM Refrigeration, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of commercial refrigeration systems. This full-time position is based in Sydney, NSW, and involves hands-on technical work in the field.
What you'll be doing: diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial refrigeration equipment and ice machines (will provide training on ice machines if needed). Perform scheduled maintenance on refrigeration systems to prevent breakdowns. Maintain detailed records of all work performed. Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with relevant regulations.
What we're looking for Formal qualification in refrigeration and air conditioning, such as a Certificate III.
Minimum 2 years' experience as a refrigeration technician. 2nd year apprentice and above. Strong technical skills and ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of refrigeration equipment. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Commitment to safety and adherence to industry regulations. Effective communication skills to liaise with customers and team members. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
