A reputable private educational institution in Jahra, Kuwait, seeks a Student Counselor to join its

Admissions 8L Student Services team. This role will guide prospective and current students, ensuring a smooth admissions process and assisting students with academic, career, and personal development needs.

This position requires proficiency in Hindi to assist students and parents from diverse backgrounds effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Admissions Support: Guide prospective students through the admissions process, explaining program details, eligibility requirements, and financial aid options.

Student Counseling: Provide academic, career, and personal counseling to students, ensuring they have the resources needed for success.

Language-Specific Assistance: assist students and parents who prefer Hindi, ensuring clear communication about academic policies and services.

Student Engagement: Organize and participate in student orientation, events, and workshops to enhance student experience and retention.

Administrative Tasks: Maintain student records, track admissions inquiries, and support documentation processes. Collaboration: Work closely with faculty, student affairs, and other departments to support student well-being and success.

Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, counseling, arts, marketing, or a related field. Fluency in English is mandatory, with proficiency in Hindi. Minimum of 2 years of experience in academic advising, counseling, or student services. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, parents, and faculty. Ability to work in a multicultural environment and support students from diverse backgrounds. Proficiency in MS Office and student management systems is a plus. Social media sawiness for content creation is a plus. Attention to detail is essential.
