We're Hiring! Project Engineer – Electrical & Instrumentation (Oil & Gas) – Qatar

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all E&I activities at the site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards, and safety regulations.

Coordinate with the main contractor to align project goals and timelines.

Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of E&I instrument and control systems.

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality control.

Prepare and review technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.

Ensure that all work is completed within budget and on schedule.

Provide technical guidance and support to the project team.

Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members.

Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.

Manage manpower to ensure efficient use of resources and timely completion of tasks.

Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Prepare and manage permits to work to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.

Develop and review method statements and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

A minimum of 10 years of experience in E&I engineering, preferably in the oil and gas industry in Qatar. Proven experience in a lead.

Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems, including installation, testing, calibration, and commissioning. Knowledge in control system cabinet integration. Wiring, inspection, and FAT testing.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Proficiency in relevant software and tools. Prior experience in the oil & gas industry, particularly with Qatar Energy LNG projects, is a must.
