Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Cost Analysis and Optimization: Analyze AWS usage and spending data to identify areas for cost optimization. Develop and implement strategies for reducing cloud costs without compromising performance or functionality. Monitor cloud spending patterns and identify trends to proactively address potential cost issues.

Automation and Tooling: Develop and implement automation tools and processes to optimize cloud spending and usage. Utilize AWS cost management tools (e.g., Cost Explorer, Budgets, and Cost and Usage Reports). Explore and implement third-party FinOps tools to enhance cost visibility and control.

Collaboration and Communication: Work with engineering, finance, and other teams to foster a culture of cloud financial accountability. Communicate cloud cost insights and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Collaborate on budget planning and forecasting to ensure alignment with business goals.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in AWS services and technologies. Experience with cloud cost analysis tools and techniques. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
