Responsibilities: Install and maintain aerial and underground telephone equipment. Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures. Connect, disconnect, and relocate cable outlets. Install cable modems and software to enable Internet access. Maintain and repair aerial and underground transmission systems. Splice, join, and connect wires. Repair or replace defective telephone equipment.
