WorkPac requires multiple second-class welders for a local workshop in the northern suburbs of Adelaide.

Long term casual position - up to 2 years

Monday-Friday—10-hour days

Saturdays—8-hour days

No Trade Certificate required

$35.81 per hour + penalties

Higher rate with Trade Certificate

About our Client

Our client is seeking suitably experienced and motivated second-class welders for long-term casual positions in the northern suburbs.

You will be part of a high-performing team with opportunities for personal development and growth.

As an experienced second-class welder, you can be from any background as long as you are reliable, have strong ability with MIG welding, are safety conscious, punctual, and physically fit.

What You Will Be Doing:

Welding reinforced mild steel cages for major infrastructure concrete works

Heavy gauge rod and cage welding

Ensuring all work is performed in accordance to supplied drawings, schedules, guidelines and criteria

Demonstrate adherence to planned work and the required quality output

The successful applicants will work Monday to Friday and have the opportunity to complete overtime hours and Saturday work.

What You Will Need:

Current drivers's licence

Strong ability to weld using MIG - minimum requirement

No Trade Certificate required

Pass a practical 'Weld Test' on site

Ability to follow CAD plans

Strong knowledge of MIG welding requirements

Substantial & demonstrated skills in working within a collaborative, highly skilled work environment

Sound level of skills in oral, written and interpersonal communication

Ongoing works for a period of approx. 2 years—2-week closure over Christmas
