As the Events Coordinator at Melbourne Law School, you'll play a pivotal role in planning and executing key events that support the school's strategic goals. You'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of stakeholders, from academic leaders to external partners, while honing your event management skills in a prestigious academic environment. This role offers you the chance to make a tangible impact on the law school's communication and engagement strategies.
Your responsibilities will include
End-to-End Event Management: Plan, coordinate, promote, deliver, and evaluate a range of events aligned with strategic objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure events meet diverse audience needs and leverage content across all channels.
Budget and Timeline Management: Ensure events are delivered on time and within budget, adhering to university and divisional policies.
Cross-Functional Support: Contribute to broader communications and marketing activities within the Divisional Grouping team.
You may be a great fit if:
You are a dedicated event professional with a degree and relevant experience, possessing strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build positive relationships at all levels while working both independently and collaboratively.
You may also:
Have experience coordinating high-profile events and managing external contractors.
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrate strong time management and the ability to prioritize workloads across teams.
Be comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
Have experience working in large, complex organizations.
Be proficient in project management and finance systems.
