About the Role
As a social campaign advisor, you will collaborate with diverse internal teams to drive successful paid social media performance campaigns in support of the university’s global reputation, student recruitment, advocacy, research impact, and engagement objectives.
Your responsibilities will include the precise execution and management of campaigns aimed at boosting awareness, acquisition, and conversion among targeted international audiences. This involves media planning, trafficking, quality assurance, reporting, optimization, budget oversight, and analyzing trends and insights.
To excel in this role, you’ll need comprehensive expertise in platforms like Meta (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp), TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube, with a proven ability to execute both native and paid social media campaigns effectively.
Your responsibilities will include
Set-up and delivery of paid social campaigns across Meta (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp), LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube and other channels as required
Provide support and expert advice to University staff (Academic Divisions, professional staff and academic staff) in paid social media strategy, operations and reporting
Execute paid social media strategies and robust reporting to measure the effectiveness of the University's marketing initiatives
Contribute to trends and insights, develop test and learn programs and optimisation recommendations, contributing to continuous improvement of digital channels
Who we are looking for
We’re looking for an experienced social campaign advisor with strong experience in paid social media, specifically engaging international markets. You will have the expertise to manage stakeholders effectively, provide strategic support, and foster strong working relationships. Professionalism and responsiveness are essential in this role.
You may come from a media or social media agency background, with proven expertise in managing and executing paid social media campaigns, including budget management.
You will also have
Demonstrated extensive experience in paid social media campaigns, content development and execution strategies, with a focus on international markets
Demonstrated successful delivery of social media initiatives within a large and complex organisation
Marketing experience in a similar role within a large, complex environment, leading paid social media campaigns to effectively engage international audiences and drive results
Considerable experience in complex decision making requiring high levels of expertise and judgement

This role requires the successful candidate to undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This is essential to guarantee a secure environment for all individuals at the university.
