As a Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in implementing the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry, and Health Sciences' strategy to address profound health challenges. You'll develop and deliver stakeholder and communications strategies for key projects, working closely with academic leads and diverse stakeholders. This role offers you the opportunity to shape the future of healthcare while honing your expertise in strategic communications and stakeholder management.
Your responsibilities will include
Develop Compelling Communications: Create vision-selling value propositions and adapt messages for various audiences and formats.
Lead Stakeholder Engagement: Identify and map stakeholders, set engagement goals, and monitor efforts for continuous improvement.
Plan and Execute Communications Strategies: Deliver proactive communications and engagement activities to meet strategic objectives.
Provide Expert Advice: Support academic leads with communications activities and plans.
Build Strong Relationships: Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
You may be a great fit if:
You are an experienced communications professional with a proven track record in designing impactful stakeholder engagement strategies, possessing strong analytical skills and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
You may also:
Have extensive experience in stakeholder engagement and communications strategy.
Possess high-level competency in stakeholder mapping and analysis methodologies.
Hold a degree in a relevant area such as communications, public policy, or marketing.
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
Have experience in complex decision-making requiring high levels of expertise.
Show a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders.
