Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled biomedical technician with hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a valid certification in biological safety cabinets (BSC) and demonstrate a strong understanding of biosafety protocols and equipment performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of laboratory instruments, including centrifuges, incubators, spectrophotometers, and biosafety cabinets.

Perform preventive maintenance and ensure calibration schedules are followed according to manufacturer and regulatory standards.

Certify biological safety cabinets in compliance with NSF/ANSI 49 standards.

Maintain accurate service records and reports for internal and external audits.

Collaborate with laboratory staff and vendors to ensure uninterrupted operation of critical lab systems.

Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, SOPs, and institutional biosafety guidelines.

Qualifications:

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, electronics, or a related technical field.

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with laboratory equipment in a clinical or research environment.

Certified in biological safety cabinet field certification (e.g., NSF-accredited certification or equivalent).

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in GMP, GLP, or ISO 13485 environments.

Familiarity with automated laboratory systems and data logging tools.

OEM training or factory certification on specific equipment is a plus.
