Front End Application Software Developer
We’re looking for world-class front-end developers to help us create apps so beautifully engineered, they make all the other apps jealous.
We need you to join our team of front end engineering A-Players. You will be responsible for delivering data and analytics to our worldwide customers in new and beautiful ways. We’re talking gold-leaf wrapping paper with matching ribbon and a handwritten card, express delivered direct to their door. With ticker-tape upon arrival.
You’re passionate about all things Web and Mobile. You write elegant code and believe in complete usability. You build apps that anyone can use, from anywhere, on any device (even the terrible ones). Your apps are so well engineered they not only play nicely with others, they are the life and soul of the interoperability party.
Rock on.
Your work speaks for itself, but you can occasionally be persuaded to talk about it too. Over a drink. In the office. Well, just about anywhere really. You are an active member of the tech community and debate the merits of JS vs. CoffeeScript, vs. Dart often and passionately.
You are a true customer advocate. You channel your inner customer at least 12 times a day and always put away the candles afterwards. You know what our customers need before they do and exactly how to make it happen. Then you go do it.
You are excited by the prospect of building applications enabled by D&B’s platforms for web and mobile devices which interoperate with third party apps.
Required Skills
• JavaScript, as well as a familiarity of alternatives (CoffeeScript, Dart, TypeScript).
• Browser APIs, HTML5 and CSS
• Client side build environments (npm, grunt etc.)
• The internationalization of software.
• Development for mobile devices
• Java and / or Objective-C
Experience
• You have a Degree in Computer Science or a related field
• You have experience of successful delivery of high quality commercial software
